This Cookie Policy explains how the Apprenaline website (operated by Apprenaline Ltd, 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, England, W1W 7LT; company no. 15220303) uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which let a website remember information in your browser. We group these as "cookies and similar technologies" below.
3. What we use — and what we don't
We do not use any advertising, profiling, or social-media tracking cookies. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
What we use is limited to what's needed to run the site, let you complete a booking, and — only if you accept cookies in our banner — remember which partner referred you and recognise you in our own analytics if you return:

We use Stripe to take payment. Any cookies Stripe sets are strictly necessary for processing your payment and preventing fraud, and are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy notices on Stripe's pages.
4. Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly product-analytics tool (PostHog, hosted in the EU) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how our booking process performs. It does not build a personal profile of you and does not track you across other websites. Data is processed in the European Union.
By default it runs cookieless: it stores no cookie and no other data on your device, and each visit is counted separately. Only if you accept cookies in our banner does it store an identifier on your device (see the table above) so a return visit can be recognised as the same browser. This processing is also described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your consent
The strictly-necessary cookies and the same-origin session-storage entries described above do not require prior consent, because they are essential to provide the service you ask for (or, for the session-scoped referral entry, are cleared when you close the tab) and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
The apx_ref referral cookie and persistent analytics storage are optional and are set only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you choose "Decline", the site works exactly the same: referral credit simply lasts only for your current browsing session, and analytics stays cookieless. Your choice is remembered for 180 days (the apx_consent cookie), and you can change your mind at any time by clearing our cookies in your browser — the banner will then ask again.
6. Managing cookies and local storage
You can control or delete cookies and clear local/session storage through your browser settings (usually under "Privacy" or "Site data"). Clearing your booking draft will simply mean the form no longer pre-fills if you return to it; deleting apx_consent makes the banner ask for your choice again; deleting apx_ref or the analytics storage removes the optional cookies described above. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the site or checkout from working.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time and will change the "Last updated" date above. If we ever introduce tracking technologies, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.
