Our Story

We’re Kris and Miki — two friends chasing thrills across the world for almost two decades. From Fuerteventura to China, Milan to Brazil, we’ve met up in the world’s most exciting spots to find and try every extreme sport we could. But on every trip, the story was the same: we wasted hours searching, comparing, asking around and hoping to stumble into the right experience.

There was no platform. No visibility. No trust. No community.

But still — we always found a way. By the end of each trip, we’d finally piece it all together. We'd find the best spots, the coolest guides and connect with a group of like-minded adventurers. That’s when the real magic happened. We built community, shared rides, swapped gear and planned new adventures together. But it always came too late.

The Trip that Changed Everything

In November 2023, we went on a group trip through Jericoacoara, the Amazon and Rio de Janeiro — three of Brazil’s most iconic destinations for outdoor adventure. We were ready to dive into everything: kitesurfing, jungle treks, boat trips, off-roading, skydiving. But something kept getting in the way: we couldn’t see what was actually available. Everywhere we went, we faced the same issue.

The providers had almost no online presence. Booking was confusing or offline. Prices were inconsistent. We missed out on amazing experiences — not because we weren’t looking, but because they weren't really visible until it was too late. When we talked to our group — friends from all over the world — they all said the same thing.

That’s when we realised: this problem isn’t local — it’s global.

that’s when we decided to build Apprenaline

Fast forward half a year to June 2024, we went full-time on the business and moved to Jericoacoara to embed ourselves in the sports scene. And that’s when the real shock hit. After just a few months living there, we saw the massive difference between the tourist experience and the local one. We discovered better instructors. Found hidden experiences. Paid less. Connected with the community. Everything changed. It confirmed what we knew: the real adventure isn’t in plain sight. And unless you live there, you’ll probably miss it.

We’re live across South America, Europe, and the Middle East, with new sports and destinations dropping every week. Adventure just got easier.
