Sport flying is only sold to guests who have flown in a wind tunnel before — anywhere — or who are currently in AFF training. The operator checks this on arrival. The tunnel is 4 m in diameter and 9 m tall with a maximum wind speed of 210 km/h: it suits dynamic head-down flight but not static head-down. Flyers normally fly 15 minutes inside a 30-minute slot, about 10 rounds with a debrief after each, so an hour block is roughly 30 minutes of air. If two of you share a block you cannot book the same instructor for the same shift. Above 100 kg a second instructor is required; 120 kg is the hard limit.
